Will it Matter?
I’ll be in Las Vegas this summer… a desert town built on playing the odds even though they are stacked against you.
I have never gambled. I derive far more pleasure going over businesses and their odds of beating the major indices than I do from roulette wheels or throwing dice.
As I said, I don’t like gambling when the odds are against me, but I do sit next to friends who gamble. I can enjoy the fun of it when it’s just a social event, and Las Vegas is fascinated by the likelihood that Biden doesn’t make it to the next election date.
I want to briefly review that and talk about why it doesn’t really matter much in the grand scheme of things.
WHAT ARE THE ODDS?
Joe Biden is 81 years old.
Richard Nixon died at 81. Gerald Ford died at 93. Jimmy Carter is ALIVE at 99. Ronald Reagan died at 93. George H.W. Bush died at 94.
Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are both 77.

If Joe Biden passes away of natural causes this year, he will be the youngest since Nixon, and I don’t see it happening.
I’m focusing on the big picture rather than placing blind bets on this nonsense, and the rematch between Trump and Biden tells me one thing: America is DIVIDED.
When the United States of America is fighting internally, the major forces of civilization that are fighting for supremacy against it feel reinforced and invigorated, and I expect them to be bold.
If you’re an American or a NATO member in general, know that the more you fight with your neighbor on matters that are inconsequential instead of realizing that your enemies are watching, you’re weakening your position in this world.
American technological supremacy and the success of capitalism, the greatest form of incentive system ever devised (yet), will keep America first whether Trump, Biden, or someone else takes office.
Entrepreneurship is the gift that keeps on giving, and protecting it is the most important task for leaders.
