Your Next Move Could Prove Crucial
I’ve spent the past two days in Jerusalem, arguably one of the most iconic and toured cities in the world. You do get some chills driving up to it since the road from Tel Aviv begins at sea level and then the scenery changes to the neighboring peaks and valleys that border the ancient city from all sides.
Just outside of the main residential areas and situated next to a spring is a small village named Ein Karen, where it is believed that Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, had lived, and where she met Mary, the mother of Jesus, next to the spring.
We went there first.
Next on our trip, we parked outside the Herzl Mountain area and saw Yad Vashem Museum, where the holocaust is memorialized and the people who both lost their lives and went to extraordinary measures to fight insanity and save lives are honored.
This, in stark difference, is recent history, and it can still be taught by testimonies of living survivors, though the generation is now all but gone, with nearly 80 years gone by.
We checked into our room at the Waldorf Astoria, from whose balcony the walls of the ancient city are visible, and we walked towards it.
Jerusalem is home to Temple Mount, the holiest place for Judaism since it is believed that the temples of God, both the first and the second, were situated here. Christians believe that Jesus and his parents had traveled from Nazareth to Jerusalem to see it. To the Muslims, this is the third most holy place, according to tradition, since this is the place where the prophet Muhammad began his night journey.
This hill in the city of Jerusalem holds great significance to most people. It is one of the most important political powder kegs in the world, and countless battles have been fought over it.

Religion forms sites, ideas, and objects, as well as people that are believed to be holy to their followers, and the followers will go to great lengths to worship them.
In the stock market and the world of finance and investments, nothing is holy.
One thing is highly praised today and another will be deemed as perfect the following month, but glory is temporary since value is relative in the world of equities and isn’t absolute, as it is with religion.
Nothing is set in stone, nothing is flawless, and nothing is sacred because in the world of business, being flexible is the gift of the titans who come into this game with an open mind.
Tomorrow, CPI numbers will be published, and I want you to keep in mind that many things that markets held dear for the past few months could be thrown to the gutters, while others, which have been largely forgotten about or discounted, will be back in fashion.
Many dynamics could alter tomorrow since the FED’s “transitory inflation” theme is beginning to wear thin. If the markets become convinced that the FED doesn’t know what it is talking about, it will scream bloody murder, but if inflation cools down, this will be a sign that central bankers are in control of price stability and the markets will celebrate.
Tomorrow, much clarity will be made public.
