Bai Brands, Vitamin Water, Honest Tea, Snapple, Sunny Delight, and Body Armor…

Dear Reader,

***Bai Brands sold to Dr. Pepper in November of 2016 for $1.7 billion in cash.

Many saw it as an overnight success, but we all know there is no such thing – it took years to make that deal happen.

Bai was founded in 2009. Three years later, the company achieved $5 million in revenue. They tripled that number in 2013 and grossed $50 million in 2014. Two years later, they had revenues of $300 million and sold to Dr. Pepper.

No two stories are alike, but we are seeing patterns – success does indeed leave us clues.

One of the biggest new trends in the health drink space are something called nootropics.

This is basically an umbrella term used for naturally occurring (and sometimes man-made) supplements added to your drink to give cognitive benefits to your brain.

Here are the criteria for a true nootropic drink:

1. Helps brain function
2. Protects the brain
3. Enhances memory/learning
4. Increases the efficacy of neuronal firing
5. NON-TOXIC! Zero to very few side effects.

Many are taking these drinks to reduce anxiety, have more energy, stay focused, increase memory (think college exam night), or to just supercharge yourself in the morning.

Many of these drinks will eventually have a component of hemp oil, CBD, and ultimately THC, all crossing over from the cannabis space, which is in the midst of its own boom.

This is currently a $2 billion market, but as you can see by this chart, it’s expected to reach $6 billion by 2024!

So how do we position ourselves to partner and profit with one of these companies that has a pattern that rhymes with companies like Bai and Vitamin Water…

***Well, we first look for the right management team selling the right product, with sales growth to prove the marketplace demands what they are offering, and then look at their growth projections by looking at how many retail stores they were in last year vs. today.***

We also look at what’s to come: are they aggressively growing or are they growing at a pace that doesn’t separate them from the pack, because I guarantee you that Coca-Cola isn’t looking for an average player – they are looking for the exceptional.

In 2015, we recommended Celsius Holdings; it went from 35 cents to $6!

Our Alkaline Water pick saw an over 300% gain in the last 24 months.

With my next pick, though, I’m swinging for the fences.

It combines a rapidly growing company with massive purchase orders by household name brand companies, and it even has a CBD component to one of its drink lines.

Look for a very important Future Money Trends Letter stock suggestion tomorrow morning.

    Best Regards,
