Small Business Confidence Hits a Record!

Dear Reader,

If you’ve ever read the book Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, or The Science of Getting Rich, by Wallace Wattles, you can truly appreciate what is about to happen in 2018 for the U.S. economy.

When tens of millions of business owners, employees, and consumers are optimistic about the future by record numbers, this can lead to an incredible boom!

Gallup just reported a huge boost in optimism for the job market, and U.S. consumer confidence is also at a 2-decade high.

According to the USDA, food stamp usage is down by over 2 million people since President Trump took office.

This is a real sign that things are improving.

The Small Business Optimism Index was at an all-time high for its average during 2017 (a year that saw a real resurgence in the economy), and heading into 2018, the index hit its highest number ever last month!

In the last year, we’ve seen a significant regulatory relief come to U.S. businesses. For 2018, we are also doing business with a massive tax cut that has officially become the law of the land, which is already paving the way for stronger growth ahead.

Every year, I always make sure to call up my friends, mentors, and business partners to get a feel for what they are also seeing for the new year.

In one such call with Lior Gantz, we recorded our mastermind talk.

We discussed the future of gold, crypto, cannabis, and the U.S. economy, where we had plenty of disagreements.

In my opinion, the U.S. is in a structural depression, and that was felt strongly during the last 10 years, which is why the rise in economic activity we are seeing now could last for years… You see, most economists think we’ve been out of recession since 2009, but we all know their numbers are heavily fudged and have become highly political.

What if the U.S. recession that officially started in 2007 truly just ended in 2016, with U.S. GDP underperforming America’s potential for 10 straight years, which is why most Americans stated that they never felt like we left the recession.
