Weekly Wealth Digest New

Dear FutureMoneyTrends.com Member,

Over the years from speaking with some of the world’s most successful people, I have learned that there are a few core beliefs and practices that each of these men and women have disciplined their lives in.

By sharing these with you, I think you will be able to get what you want in life, be that more money, time and happiness. In general, people want to be feel important. They don’t have to be important, they just need to feel important. I once heard Bill Bonner describe it like this, “Everyone wants to be the hero of their own story.”

Understanding this very simple concept can help you in working with others. Taking the time to let people know that what they are doing for you is important, and that you are appreciative. This is not sucking up or cheap flattery. You want to give genuine feedback to others and go out of your way to be grateful in life.

Secondly, always strive to over-deliver. If you are in business, find out what your client wants and then focus on that; give them what they want and more. The peace and security of over-delivering is financial freedom in itself, because you don’t have to worry about losing current clients or looking for new ones. When you over-deliver, clients and consumers of your services will find you.

Think about your experience at a great business like Costco. I would bet that if we took a poll, 90% of you would say that Costco over-delivers in services and benefits to your family. Costco, Apple and Disney are all great examples of how to focus on the needs and desires of others, and then over-delivering.

Lastly, plan for success. I don’t mean a goal or a road map written down. I mean in your mind, have an expectation for success.

All those thoughts of poverty, mediocrity and failure, get them out of your mind. Focus and see yourself succeeding every day. Wake up in the morning and describe your successful self. Much of this is about training your mind to expect good things.

  1. Be grateful
  2. Over-deliver
  3. Get control of your mind

When Warren Buffet was interviewed, he said he just always knew he would be rich, even as a little boy.

Choose to be Rich

Money does not equal happiness, but don’t lie to yourself, it can make your life a lot better.
